Litigation Property Valuation

With a history in the Northern Territory of more than 20 years, NT Valuers is the territory’s leading valuation company. NT Valuers completes valuations all over the state from Darwin to Alice Springs, and everywhere in between.

We undertake property valuations for a variety of different reasons including litigation purposes. A litigation valuation is a valuation that be performed when there is a property dispute concerning an asset that is jointly owned like residential or commercial property.

Before the court can make a judgement on how the property should be split, they require a valuation, so that they know the exact value of the disputed assets.

We prepare our court valuation reports differently to other reports so please let us know if you would like a court valuation. Every court valuation report we prepare is a sworn legal document and our valuation reports have been accepted in Australian courts such as: Federal Court of Australia; Federal Circuit Court of Australia; Family Court of Australia; ACT Supreme Court; ACT Magistrates Court; NSW Supreme Court; NSW District Court; NSW Land and Environment Court; County Court of Australia; Family Court of Western Australia.

Why choose NT Valuers?

NT Valuers property valuers are all registered with the Australian Property Institute. Before they conduct their first valuation for us we ensure that they have attained at least 15 years of valuation experience. We understand that legal matters are generally sensitive in nature and so our valuers will always take that into consideration when valuing your property which will give you the confidence that you will receive a fair property valuation.

NT Valuers does not act on behalf of banks, real estate agents or the courts so there is no conflict of interest. We are completely independent and our sole concern is determining the true value of the disputed asset.

We believe that our success over the last couple of decades can be attributed to our quick turnaround time without compromising on quality. We have internal quality control procedures in place that ensure we maintain our high standards before the valuation report is set out to you.

If you are in the midst of a property dispute and would like to resolve it then the first step is to get a litigation valuation. We are available on (08) 8911 1505 and would be happy to provide further information about what is involved in the valuation process or book a property valuation inspection.
